Petcoke Export from Sitco

Petroleum coke (Petcoke) is produced as a byproduct of the oil refining process.  It is produced when residual oils from other distillation processes used in petroleum refining are treated at high temperatures and under high pressure. The crude oil and refinery technology used in the refinery determines the physical and chemical characteristics of Petcoke. In terms of physical characteristics, It can be hard or soft. In terms of size, it can look like large sponges with many pores, or it can look like small spheres. Petcoke has a chemical composition composed of a variety of elements and metals at varying concentrations. It has a very high heating value and is used in electrical power plants and cement kilns. Since It is a carbon source, it is used in the production of steel. Since high-grade Petcoke is low in sulphur and heavy metals, it can be used as an electrode in steel and aluminium applications.
