High EC
Cocopeat is an ideal choice for bedding or floor layers in animal farms due to its soft bed cushioning and high moisture-absorbing quality. Further, cocopeat is sterlised and free from pathogens, molds, and bad odour. Being easy to lay and remove, it also offers high convenience. We offer both medium quality and destoner quality high EC cocopeat to our customers.
Uses :
- Ideal soil conditioner, desiccant, surface mulch, or rooting medium. Moreover, composted coir pith acts as an organic manure and is perfect for horticulture crops and indoor plants.
- When mixed with compost, sand, and fertilizer, cocopeat helps to make potting soil of good quality. It has an acidity range of pH 5.5 to 6.5, which is well-tolerated by most plants.
- Being high in lignin and cellulose content, cocopeat is used for growing mushrooms.
- Cocopeat is a good absorbent. It is commonly used in animal farms as bedding to absorb animal waste, helping to keep the floor dry. Further, dry cocopeat is used to absorb oil from slippery floors.
